Shell size to 9 mm; shell with less than six whorls, keeled at shoulder, with ten or eight smooth axial ribs and fine spiral striations, protoconch paucispiral. Aperture and short anterior canal oblique. Shell milky-white, with columella, suture, and sometimes outer lip, dark-brown or reddish-brown. Operculum absent.
